Description
The ‘Justin Brouwers’ Dwarf Boxwood is a slow to moderate growing evergreen shrub with a compact mounded form if left to grow naturally. With pruning it can be kept in a globe shape. Its exceptional sun tolerance and small deep-green leaves makes it a great substitute for the popular English Boxwood, which is known to suffer from too much sun.
Landscape & Garden Uses
Growing in a rounded form to 18 to 24″ tall and wide (depending on pruning), the ‘Justin Brouwers’ Dwarf Boxwood is the perfect choice for use as a low formal hedge or border edger in the landscape, or for planting under low windows or to line paths and walkways in home foundation plantings. Excellent for use in pots, planters and other containers with a diameter of 12 inches or more. A fine addition to Asian or English gardens and formal gardens. Excellent for bonsai.
Suggested Spacing: 12-18″ for hedges, 30″+ for space between plants

Growing Preferences
‘Justin Brouwers’ Dwarf Boxwood is easy to grow when planted right, and in the right spot. It adapts to most soil types and likes full sun or part shade. It prefers a well-drained soil and will only need some water during drought or prolonged periods with no rain. As with many other plants, a constantly soggy or wet soil can be problematic.
