Powdery mildew resistant deep green foliage throughout the season serves as a fine backdrop to showcase the flowers. Easy to grow and very low maintenance with no pruning required, My Fair Myrtle is one of the most cold hardy of all crape myrtles handling winter low temperatures to -5F in USDA Zone 6a, and is equally as heat hardy as far south as USDA Zone 10. If you love crape myrtles like we do, My Fair Lady is certainly one to consider finding just the right sunny spot in the landscape where you can enjoy her unrivaled summer-long color show.

Growing Preferences
My Fair Myrtle Crape Myrtle is exceptionally easy to grow and maintain in most any soil of average fertility and full to mostly sun. We suggest a minimum of 6 hours direct sunlight per day. Maintenance is minimal, with very little if any pruning required maintain density and a nice form. A light pruning before leaves emerge in early spring can help to maintain an even more dense shrub and more but smaller flower clusters. When established, plants are quite drought tolerant only requiring supplemental water during extended dry periods during summer. As with all other crape myrtle, deer won’t touch this one.
